General Information
McCracken County contracts
each year with the McCracken County Humane Society. Any dogs picked
up during regular business hours, as well as quarantined animals,
will be transported to the Humane Society. The Animal Control Officer
does not pick up cats or wild animals unless an animal bite to a
human occurs. Nuisance wild animals are under the jurisdiction of
the Department of Fish & Wildlife - (502) 564-3400.
