The Paducah-McCracken County DES Auxiliary Police are volunteer
supplemental Police units that can be "put on the street" in
a minutes notice to assist McCracken Co. Deputy Sheriffs, Paducah
Police Patrol units, and Kentucky State Police.
Primary missions of the DES Auxiliary Police are traffic control
at large accidents, storm spotting during severe weather, homeland
security patrols, search and rescue operations, and working
civic events.
