Dive Team

With numerous streams, creeks, and rivers in Paducah and McCracken County, the DES Rescue Dive Team is a critical component of local Rescue operations.

Divers are certified open water divers with additional training provided at Rescue Schools. A new Rescue Dive truck, and underwater two-way communicators have enhanced the capabilities of the only Dive Rescue team in the region.

With "Dry suits" and "wet suits", these dedicated volunteers can deal with variable water and weather conditions.
