Warning Systems

Effective Emergency Warning of our citizens is a primary mission of Paducah-McCracken Co. OEM.


The Triad of Warning

EAS - Emergency Alert System using AM and FM Radio Stations and Cable and Broadcast Television.


Outdoor Warning Sirens - 13 sirens located through Paducah and McCracken County. Four more are planned to be installed in the next year.

NOAA Weather Radios - Installed in all public schools and local government buildings in Paducah and McCracken County, and every resident's best insurance for timely warning during emergencies.

Highlights
The joint City/County soccer complex public hearing will be held Tuesday, March 18, 2008 at 5:30 PM at City Hall.
The Planning Commission will meet again March 26, 2008 at 1:30 PM.
The next Fiscal Court Meeting will be held March 24, 2008 at 6:00 PM.
