Saturday, June 3: Featuring Youth Night (6-9 pm) -- Local area talent performances and family-friendly activities.
Tuesday, July 4: LIVE on the RIVER / Independence Day Celebration (4-10 pm with food vendors opening at 1 pm) -- Music, children's activities, and family fun on Wilson Stage and the streets of downtown Paducah. At 9:15 pm enjoy the National Anthem and fireworks set to music.
Saturday, August 5: Featuring Big Brown Truck Pull (6-9 pm) -- Family-friendly activities and live music.
LIVE on the RIVER includes a family-friendly atmosphere with musicians, artists, and performers who set up downtown on select Saturdays/holidays during the summer. All of the entertainment is free. A variety of children's activities will be available at all LIVE on the RIVER events. Carriage rides will be available for a fee.
During LIVE on the RIVER, Broadway will be closed inside of 3rd Street to the riverfront with entertainment on Broadway and along Market Square and 2nd Street.
“We discovered the desire is to have quality, family-friendly themed events. They will be dates that you want to put on your calendar and make sure you don’t miss. Also, we want people to enjoy downtown restaurants and businesses and Paducah’s backyard, the riverfront,” says Special Events Coordinator Molly Tomasallo.
