The City of Paducah assists low-to-moderate income (LMI) families with housing choices through several grant programs.   Funds for the grants are obtained by the city from the Kentucky Housing Corporation (KHC) and the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).  The city has four programs:

Homeowner Rehab - This program allows current homeowners that are LMI to apply for funds to rehab their home.

Rental Rehab - This program allows for landlords to apply to rehab apartments for LMI families to live in.

Home Buyer - This program is for LMI families who are not currently a homeowner, but want to buy a home.

Section 8 Rental Assistance - The City of Paducah has two housing options through its Section 8 program.  The first is the traditional rental assistance voucher program  The second option is for homeownership.

Income Limits - set by HUD.

The funding cycles for these programs all vary, so the application times are different for each program.  The link to the income limits will help you determine if you may qualify for any of the programs.   The waiting list for these programs are often long, so please contact us at 270-444-8690 if you think you may qualify.
