Paducah Police Receives Outstanding Outreach and Support Diverse Communities Award

The Paducah Police Department was honored to receive the Outstanding Outreach and Support Diverse Communities award from West Kentucky Community and Technical College during the college's Red Carpet Leader Recognition Luncheon this week. 

Chevene Duncan-Herring, Director of Diversity and Inclusion at WKCTC, said, “The Paducah Police Department are model examples of outreach efforts to build community relationships, handling mentally ill citizens, addressing domestic violence, and initiating and developing cultural leadership training that provides the skills necessary to relate to people of all backgrounds."

Chief Brandon Barnhill thanked the college for the honor, saying, "I appreciate West Kentucky Community and Technical College for recognizing the tireless efforts of the men and women of the Paducah Police Department to build relationships and continue to reach out to all corners of the community we serve."
