The Paducah Parks & Recreation Department is coordinating the 2018 Adult Softball League consisting of men’s leagues and a coed league.
Parks & Recreation will host a Team Manager and Informational Meeting on Monday, March 19 at 6:30 p.m. in the Senior Activity Room at the Parks & Recreation Office located at 1400 H.C. Mathis Drive. The Team Manager or a representative from each team in the men’s and coed leagues should attend. If you do not have a team and are interested in being a Free Agent, please attend this meeting or contact Recreation Specialist Taylor Morsching to find a team to join, as Parks & Recreation does not handle individual registrations.
In order to maintain competitiveness in each league, Parks & Recreation reserves the right to specify which league a team participates.
Teams can register at the Parks & Recreation Office located at 1400 HC Mathis Drive after the March meeting. The registration deadline is Wednesday, April 18. The registration fee is $650 per team. A team roster and all player waivers will need to be submitted during registration. Registrations taken after the deadline and before Friday, April 20 will be charged an additional $50 late fee.
The first week of games will be May 7-9. All leagues will be slow-pitch and are on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday nights at Stuart Nelson Park. The season will consist of 14 regular games plus a double elimination tournament.
