Shooting Investigation - Searching for Suspect

The Paducah Police Department is investigating a shooting that left one man injured early Tuesday morning.

Officers were dispatched to the 1600 block of North 10th Street in reference to citizen complaints of an individual knocking on doors claiming he had been shot. Responding officers located 40-year-old Perry Morris of Paducah on the front porch of a residence and found that he was suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to his arm. Morris was transported to Baptist Health Paducah for treatment of his injury.

Det. Travis Watson conducted an investigation into the incident and determined Myree Marshall (see picture) had fired a handgun at Morris, causing his injury.

Det. Watson secured a warrant for Marshall for Assault, 2nd Degree.

Individuals encountering Marshall should use extreme caution and contact police immediately, as he is considered to be armed and dangerous.
