The Paducah Police Department is pleased to announce two new officers were sworn in today.
Adam Winebarger and Mitchell Townsend this morning joined the ranks of the police department.
Winebarger, 31, is a graduate of Marshall County High School. He served in the U.S. Navy for nearly 10 years, and comes to the PPD from the Murray Police Department, where he has been an officer one year. He and his wife, Andrea, have two daughters.
Townsend, 27, has worked three years for the Webster County Sheriff’s Department. He and his wife, Lacey, have no children.
The two were sworn in by McCracken County Family Court Judge Deanna Wise Henschel.
