Temporary Closure of Compost Facility for Grinding of Brush

Due to routine grinding of brush, the City of Paducah Compost Facility located at 1560 North 8th Street will be closed to the public until further notice starting Monday, April 23.  The City apologizes for any inconvenience.

The Facility is operated by the City of Paducah Engineering-Public Works Department.  The regular operating schedule for the Compost Facility, when it is not closed for routine grinding, is Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. until 3 p.m.  It is closed on Sunday.  When open, the Facility has wood chips and compost available for purchase by the bucket load.  An approximately two yard bucket load of wood chips is $10 while the compost costs $20.
