Weather Conditions Lead to Early Closure of Paducah City Hall and Other Offices

Date of Release:
December 22, 2022

With the forecast of accumulating snow and a significant drop in temperatures this afternoon from the winter storm moving into the area, Paducah City Hall located at 300 South 5th Street and other City offices will be closing at 1 p.m. on Thursday, December 22.

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Paducah in effect today from 2 p.m. until midnight. Total snow accumulations of one to three inches, with locally up to four inches, are possible.  A Wind Chill Warning is in effect from 6 p.m. today until noon on Friday.  Wind chills as low as 30 below zero are possible.  For the latest information, visit National Weather Service Paducah.

City Hall and City offices are closed Friday, December 23, and Monday, December 26 for the Christmas Holidays.
