Come out with your family this Saturday, March 13, and join the fun. Paducah Parks Services will be at the Noble Park Fishing Pier at 10:00 a.m. handing out a limited number of cane poles to children wanting to fish who are accompanied by an adult. Fishing is allowed at Noble Park Lake during normal park hours of 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Update: Noble Park entrance at baseball fields off of Park Avenue -- In order to deter use of Noble Park as a "cut through" the gates at the baseball field entrance to Noble Park will not be opened until late morning daily. The other three gates at Noble Park will be opened daily as usual.

Paducah Parks Services Community Garden

ALL PLOTS IN THE COMMUNITY GARDEN HAVE BEEN RENTED FOR THE 2010 SEASON
The Paducah Parks Services is pleased to announce the opening of Paducah's first Public Community Garden. This is an opportunity for citizens to rent plots for $20 from March to October for the an organic garden of their own. This is a great opportunity for those living in a condo, apartment or with a small yard.
The informational meeting for all plot renters has been scheduled for March 15 at 5:30 PM at the community garden site.

Dog Park Fundraising Efforts
In conjunction with the efforts of a grassroots group of citizens, the Paducah Parks Services is attempting to raise private funds that will be matched and used to construct a public dog park.

Tree/Park Bench Memorials
It is the policy of Parks Services to accept donations for the purpose of planting trees and installing benches within City Parks to memorialize a departed family member or friend, or to commemorate a special occasion.
