July 4th Celebration at Paducah's Riverfront

Update July 2, 2009 -- The 4th of July activities for the City of Paducah begin at 6:30 p.m. on the Wilson Stage on Paducah’s riverfront.
· 6:30 p.m. Paducah Jazz Band
· 7:15 p.m. Eddie Pennington Band
· 8:30 p.m. Red Skelton Skit
· 8:45 p.m. Paducah Concert Band
· 9:15-9:30 p.m. Fireworks Show Starts
There will be several food and non-food vendors including those selling toys, lemonade, corndogs, hotdogs, popcorn, and nachos. Vendors, artists, and performers also will be along Broadway for the Downtown After Dinner program.
If a thunderstorm is in the area at the scheduled time for the fireworks, the fireworks show will be delayed until the weather clears.

Summer Camps at Noble Park
Camp Noble - Summer activity for children ages 6-11 years old at Noble Park from 10 am to 3 pm at no cost, or choose the extended hours option for just $25 per week to send your child from 8 am to 5 pm. Camp Noble Details

Tree/Park Bench Memorials
It is the policy of Parks Services to accept donations for the purpose of planting trees and installing benches within City Parks to memorialize a departed family member or friend, or to commemorate a special occasion.

Parks Department Television Programs
To view television programs, including Tot School, produced by the television department at West Kentucky Community and Technical College, visit www.paducah2.org. Also click Video Clips to view additional programming including the 2008 Touch a Truck event on September 11.
