The Paducah Tennis Association and Paducah Parks & Recreation are providing Play Tennis Fast, Spring Tennis Sundays for youth ages 4 to 18 at the Paducah Tilghman Chad Gamble Tennis Courts. These clinics are for beginner, intermediate, and advanced tennis players and will be Sunday afternoons from April 15 through May 20. There will not be a clinic on Sunday, May 13 in honor of Mother’s Day.
The beginner level is for children at least four years of age in kindergarten through 2nd grade. The beginner clinic will meet from 2 until 3 p.m. at a cost of $65 per participant. The intermediate level is for youth in 3rd through 12th grades who are new to the sport or are not active in summer United States Tennis Association (USTA) tournaments. The intermediate clinic will meet from 2 until 3:30 p.m. at a cost of $85 per participant. The advanced level is for players active in summer USTA tournaments. The advanced participants will play from 3:30 until 5:30 p.m. The advanced clinic costs $115 per participant.
Registration is available at the Paducah Parks & Recreation Offices at 1400 H.C. Mathis Drive, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m., online at www.paducahky.gov/registration, or at the tennis courts on the first day, April 15.
