2019 Lower Town Arts & Music Festival

The 2019 Lower Town Arts & Music Festival will be Friday and Saturday, May 17-18.  The festival hours are May 17, 3 p.m.-10:30 p.m. and May 18, 10 a.m.-10:30 p.m.  Admission is free.  The festival usually attracts 11,000 to 16,000 people to the historic Lower Town neighborhood in Paducah. 

The festival honors and introduces the culinary, artistic, and musical talent found in this region.  Attendees will enjoy a variety of musical entertainment on two stages, food vendors participating in the Taste of Paducah in addition to wine and beer, children’s activities, dozens of juried artists, open galleries, performances, and much more.

The event is held on Madison between 5th and 8th Streets and on 6th and 7th Streets between Harrison and Monroe Streets.  Streets are closed to vehicular traffic for the festival.  Those who live in the festival area are asked to move their cars from the streets beginning Thursday at 9 a.m. through Sunday at 9 p.m. 

The Lower Town Arts & Music Festival is produced and coordinated by local artists and the Yeiser Art Center.  The City of Paducah is a festival sponsor.  This is the 11th year for the event.
