McCracken County Public Library Evening Upstairs, Edward Durell Stone

City Hall unveiling ceremonyEnjoy an evening at the McCracken County Public Library for the Evening Upstairs Program from 7 until 8 p.m.

The program, The Man Behind Paducah's City Hall: Edward Durell Stone, will be led by Historic Preservationist Melinda Winchester.  Winchester will provide an engaging presentation on world renowned architect Edward Durell Stone, his famous works, and fascinating career.

Winchester has worked extensively throughout Missouri and Kentucky preserving architectural resources through National Register listings and historic tax credits.  As the Downtown Development Specialist for Paducah, she was instrumental in obtaining the National Register listing for City Hall. 


Before the Evening Upstairs event, please attend the City Hall Unveiling Ceremony and Meet the Team Event.

The public is invited to the Paducah City Hall Unveiling Ceremony on Thursday, May 2 at 4 p.m.  Enjoy music, food, guest speakers, and Dogwood Trail art and photography as we celebrate the recent rehabilitation project to preserve this historic building at 300 South 5th Street. 

At 5:30 p.m., provide your questions, concerns, and ideas about City government to Paducah City Manager Jim Arndt and the City’s Leadership Team at the Meet the Team event at City Hall.
