This online session will provide information about Paducah’s Brownfield Program. Join developers, real estate professionals, and community leaders who want to learn more about the development opportunities a brownfield program offers. During this hour, attendees will learn about funding for redevelopment projects, getting a project prioritized, alleviating environmental concerns, and networking with other stakeholders.

The City of Paducah received a $500,000 EPA Assessment Grant in May 2022. The goal of this funding is to implement strategies to assess, remediate, and forward the development of commercial real estate.

In addition to this virtual session to learn about Paducah’s Brownfields Program, there are several other real estate and development educational and networking opportunities.


  • Developer Happy Hour – Meet other developers for a casual discussion on Thursday, February 8 from 5 until 6 p.m. at Dry Ground Brewing Company located at 3121 Broadway. No RSVP required.
  • Incremental Development Workshop – The City of Paducah is partnering with the Incremental Development Alliance, a nonprofit group that provides education for small scale developers, empowering them to increase the quantity and quality of their projects. The City will be hosting Incremental Development for a one-day workshop on March 7, 2024. Scholarships are available. The deadline to apply for a scholarship is February 9.   • Southside Neighborhood Incentives - The City’s Southside Neighborhoods Initiative includes two housing incentive programs and two business grants.
