Invitation to Bid - Felony Records Scanning/Digitizing Paper Records Project

The Paducah Police Department is requesting sealed proposals regarding scanning felony records to external portable media. The Invitation to Bid and Attachment/Scope of Work can be obtained by contacting Amy Travis at atravis@paducahky.gov. All questions concerning this solicitation must be received in writing to atravis@paducahky.gov at least four (4) days prior to bid opening.

Request for Bids for Eight (8) Police Pursuit-Rated SUVs

The City of Paducah, Engineering-Public Works Department will receive sealed bids for the purchase of EIGHT (8) POLICE PURSUIT RATED SUV’S for use by the PADUCAH POLICE DEPARTMENT on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. CST.  All Bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud in the Commission Chambers, Second Floor, City Hall, 300 South 5th Street, Paducah, Kentucky.

OBTAINING CONTRACT DOCUMENTS:  Copies of specifications may be obtained at the office of the Engineering-Public Works Department located in City Hall.

BID EVALUATION - AWARD OF CONTRACT:  After reasonable consideration of all bids received, a Notice of Award will be given to the responsible bidder who submits the responsive bid of the lowest evaluated bid price in accordance with the specifications. 

PREFERENCE TO KENTUCKY BIDDERS:  In accordance with KRS 45A.365, prior to a contract being awarded, a resident bidder of the Commonwealth shall be given a preference against a non-resident bidder registered in any state that gives or requires a preference to bidders from that state.  The preference shall be equal to the preference given or required by the state of the non-resident bidder. 

EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY:  The Contractor shall ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, religion, color, sex, national origin, age or disability.

DRUG FREE WORKPLACE:  The City of Paducah has adopted a Drug and Alcohol Free Workplace Policy in compliance with 803 KAR 25.280, in which drug and alcohol use and abuse in the workplace is prohibited.  All contractors and subcontractors doing business for the City of Paducah shall adhere to this policy.

Invitation to Bid Paducah Health Park - Phase 2

The City of Paducah, Engineering–Public Works Department will receive sealed bids for the "Paducah Health Park – Phase 2” on September 20, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. CDT in the City Clerk’s office.  All Bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud in the Commission Chambers, Second Floor, City Hall, 300 South 5th Street, Paducah at that time. 

PROJECT DESCRIPTION - The Project will consist of the following items: Erosion Control * Earthwork * Concrete sidewalks * Sprayground system * Site furnishings * Site electrical * Storm sewer * Sanitary sewer * Masonry/Concrete * Restroom Building * Seeding/Sodding

MANDATORY PRE-BID MEETING - A Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be held at the project site at 421 N. 13th Street on September 10 at 2:00 pm. Central Time.

There is a Non-Refundable Deposit of $100.00 payable to Paducah Blueprint required per set.  An electronic copy of the plans may be obtained upon payment. The cost of shipping will be in addition to the deposit amount.

BID SECURITY - A satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the bidder or a certified bank cashier’s check in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid shall be submitted with each bid.  No other forms of security will be accepted. Failure to submit a bid bond or certified bank cashier’s check will result in disqualification of the bid. 

BID EVALUATION - AWARD OF CONTRACT - After reasonable consideration of all bids received, a Notice of Award will be given to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest responsive bid in accordance with the Specifications.  

CONTRACT TIME - The Project Contract Time Period is One Hundred Fifty (150) consecutive calendar days.  Liquidated Damages will be assessed at the sum of Two Hundred Fifty Dollars ($250.00) for each consecutive calendar day thereafter until the Project is completed as provided in accordance with the Specifications.
