September 2018:  Touch a Truck 2018  Each year the Paducah Parks & Recreation Department organizes Touch a Truck which gives children the chance to explore a variety of vehicles and meet their operators. For 2018, the event was held on September 21 at Barkley Regional Airport, a new location that offered kids the chance to get inside a small plane, too. 1 minute

August 2017:  Health Park Phase I Ribbon Cutting  On August 1, 2017, the community gathered for the ribbon cutting for the first phase of the park located at 421 North 13th Street.  Also, at the ribbon cutting was the announcement that the park would be renamed from the Health Park to the Pat & Jim Brockenborough Rotary Health Park.  Pat Brockenborough donated $500,000 to kick off the second phase of the park's construction to include a splash park and restroom facilities.  The completed Phase I includes the Paducah Rotary Playground and its safety surface, a 1/3 mile walking path, an outdoor fitness area, the enhancement of the Community Garden, and drainage and grading improvements to the center lawn area.   17 minutes

June 2016:  RIVERfront Concert Series: Adam & the H-Bombs  This is from the June 16, 2016 RIVERfront Concert Series organized by the Parks and Recreation Department.  This concert featured Adam & the H-Bombs for the first half of the evening. The free concerts are partnerships of local and nationwide artists with local artists taking the stage for the first hour, 6-7 p.m., and nationally-known up-and-coming artists entertaining the crowds from 7 until 8:30 p.m. 56 minutes

April 2015:  Tot School: Mother's Day 2015  Join Ms. Kathy and the children of Tot School as they get ready for Mother's Day.  They first make a Mother's Day card that creatively uses their footprints.  Then watch as they make a sugar scrub for mom to pamper herself.  Tot School wraps up with the kids making clay pot cupcakes.  28 minutes

December 2014:  Tot School: Christmas 2014  In this episode of Tot School, teacher Kathy Reese and the kids enjoy a visit from Santa.  They make picture frame crafts and build healthy snacks that look like candy canes out of strawberries and bananas.

March 2014:  Tot School: 2014 Easter  On this Easter 2014 episode of Tot School, teacher Kathy Reese and the children make crafts and tasty treats that will have you jumping for joy. In the craft corner, the kids will make a carrot wreath to hang from the door and a bunny juice box that will perk up your ears.  For a snack, the kids make edible bunny flowers using pink bunny Peeps. January 2014:  Tot School: 2014 Valentine's Day  On this Valentine's Day 2014 episode of Tot School, teacher Kathy Reese and the children make crafts and tasty treats that are fun for the whole family. In the craft corner, they make picture frames and salt dough that can be molded into your favorite cookie cutter shapes.  For a snack, the kids make heart shaped marshmallow treats and a love potion with bottled water and your favorite flavor of drink mix.   28 minutes

December 2013:  Tot School: Christmas 2013  On this Christmas 2013 episode of Tot School, teacher Kathy Reese and the children get a visit from Santa.  In the craft corner, they make gingerbread men.  For a snack, use your imagination to turn a marshmallow, a strawberry, and a grape into the face of the Grinch.  26 minutes

October 2013:  Tot School: Thanksgiving 2013  In this episode of Tot School, teacher Kathy Reese will show the kids how to make a story bracelet while reading them a tale of the first Thanksgiving. She'll also help them make some nice decorations for their table as well as some pumpkin scented playdough to commemorate the holiday.  28 minutes

September 2013:  Tot School: Halloween 2013  In this episode of Tot School, teacher Kathy Reese and the kids talk about Halloween safety with Paducah Police Officer Kelly Drew.  The episode includes a craft in which the kids decorate a trick or treat bag.  The Kids in the Kitchen section includes a mummy juice box, a banana ghost, and a pumpkin made out of an orange.  28 minutes

September 2013:  Tot School: Fire Safety 2013  In this episode of Tot School, teacher Kathy Reese and the kids talk about fire safety including smoke alarms, how and when to call 9-1-1, how to crawl out of a room if there is a fire, and designating a meeting space for your family.  The episode continues with a craft in which the kids make a Dalmation using a paper plate and colored circles to represent the concept of stop, drop, and roll.  The Kids in the Kitchen section allows the kids to decorate graham crackers to look like fire trucks.  26 minutes 

June 2013:  Tot School: 2013 Summer Program  On this episode of Tot School, teacher Kathy Reese explains pool safety, the kids make a ring toss game using paper plates and the cardboard tube from a roll of paper towels, and the kids decorate treats to look like sunflowers.  27 minutes

October 2012:  Tot School: Thanksgiving Program  In this episode of Tot School, it's the time of year to be thankful for friends and family.  Teacher Kathy Reese shows the kids how to make a paper plate turkey, a tin can pumpkin and a candy corn treat.  28 minutes

March 2012:  Tot School: Easter Program  In this episode of Tot School, the kids get ready for Easter by making a craft using a clay pot, felt, and a stryrofoam ball.  The final product looks like a bunny jumping into the pot. Then, the kids enjoy a cute snack of a bunny driving a racecar with everything edible including the steering wheel.  28 minutes

December 2011: Tot School: Winter Show In this episode the kids hear a story; make snowballs and hot chocolate; create snowball paint; and build their very own snow window. Come in from the cold for a while and warm yourself in this winter edition of Tot School. 28 minutes    

November 2011: Tot School: Christmas Show The kids sing the song "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer", enjoy some Christmas crafts, and look forward to a visit from Santa Claus. 28 minutes

October 2011: Tot School: Halloween Show The kids learn about Halloween and trick or treating safety from Paducah Police Officer Gretchen Morgan, make a candle holder that looks like a pumpkin, and eat a scary snack of "goblin feet". 28 minutes  

September 2011: Tot School: Fall Show Part 1 Part 2 The kids make a fall tree using their handprint and thumbprints and make a pretend apple pie. For a snack, the children decorate a cupcake to look like a pumpkins. 28 minutes  

September 2011: Tot School: Fire Safety Part 1 Part 2 Three members of the Paducah Fire Department visit Tot School to provide fire safety tips. The kids then decorate styrofoam cups to look like Dalmatians and decorate graham crackers to look like fire trucks. 28 minutes  

June 2011: Tot School: Father's Day Show Watch as the kids make great crafts for dad just in time for Father's Day. Crafts include a fish and fishing pole, a handprint cover for a notebook, and cupcakes decorated to look like hot dogs cooking on the grill. 28 minutes  

April 2011: Tot School: Easter Show Learn how to make a bunny out of a sock. Also, watch as the kids make a Easter picture showing a chick, grass, and fluffy clouds. The Easter Bunny makes a special appearance as the children are decorating cupcakes. 29 minutes  

March 2011: Tot School: Spring Show Watch the kids enjoying crafts where they get to make daffodils and ladybugs. Plus, they enjoy a special sweet treat. 29 minutes
