Date of release: July 31, 2018
Registration is underway for the Fall Ball Youth League. The League is held at the Noble Park Fields. Paducah Parks & Recreation invites parents of boys and girls ages 5 to 9 who are interested in playing to register now for the upcoming league. Players ages 5 or 6 will play in a tee ball league, and players ages 7 through 9 will play tee ball and transition into coach pitch based on each player’s ability levels.
Registration is available at the Parks office at 1400 HC Mathis Drive from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday or online at www.paducahky.gov/parks-recreation-department. The registration fee is $12 for all participants. The registration deadline is Thursday, August 23.
The League will be held Tuesdays from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Noble Park Baseball Fields from September 4 to September 25. Each Tuesday will consist of 45 minutes of practice and a scrimmage for 45 minutes. Teams will be organized based on ages and attendance each week. Players should bring their own glove, tennis shoes or cleats, and athletic apparel. All other equipment will be provided. We ask all parents to consider helping to coach since volunteer coaches are needed.
If you have any questions about the upcoming league, please contact Recreation Specialist Taylor Morsching at firstname.lastname@example.org or 270-444-1331. Additional information about the league can be found under the Parks & Recreation Department section of the website www.paducahky.gov.
