Paducah Parks & Recreation is presenting the first ever Hot Shot Basketball Contest on Saturday, January 27 at the Paducah Recreation Center located at 1527 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. Boys and girls ages 9-14 are invited to play in this fun contest where participants will have three one-minute time periods to shoot from five different marks on the court. Scores will be totaled from each of the three time periods. The boys will start at noon with girls following at 1:30 p.m.
Awards will be given out for first and second place in the following age groups: boys 9-10, 11-12, 13-14 and girls 9-10, 11-12, 13-14. Participants must register at the Paducah Recreation Center before their start time. Basketballs will be provided. There is no charge to participate.
