The Parks & Recreation Department invites everyone to Paducah’s riverfront on Saturday, June 22 for the Riverfront Concert Series. Due to the Ohio River level, the concert will be in the parking lot of the Farmers’ Market near Jefferson Street. Enjoy sounds, sunset, and summertime with The Claudettes hitting the stage from 6 until 7 p.m. and then Dwight & Nicole from 7 until 8:30 p.m.
To learn more about The Claudettes, visit https://theclaudettes.com/. According to the website, The Claudettes fuse Chicago piano blues with the full-throttle energy of rockabilly and punk and the sultriness of ’60s soul to write a thrilling new chapter in American roots music.
For more information about Dwight & Nicole, visit https://dwightandnicole.com/. Dwight & Nicole is an American indie-soul band fronted by Dwight Ritcher & Nicole Nelson.
The free concerts, featuring a variety of music genres, are held on select Thursday and Saturday evenings this summer on Wilson Stage at the riverfront. The concerts are partnerships of local and/or up-and-coming artists taking the stage for the first hour starting at 6 p.m. The nationally-known artists entertain the crowds from 7 until 8:30 p.m.
