Registration is underway for the Fall Ball Youth League. The League is held at the Noble Park Baseball Fields. Paducah Parks & Recreation invites parents of boys and girls ages 4 to 9 who are interested in playing to register now for the upcoming league. Players ages 4 through 6 will play in a tee ball league, and players ages 7 through 9 will play tee ball and transition into coach pitch based on each player’s ability levels.
Registration is available by calling the Parks & Recreation office at 1400 HC Mathis Drive from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday or registering online at www.paducahky.gov/registration. The registration fee is $10 for each participant. The registration deadline is Tuesday, September 8.
The League will be held Mondays for those 4 to 6 years of age and Tuesdays for those 7 to 9 years of age from 6 to 7:15 p.m. at the Noble Park Baseball Fields. The league will be September 21, 22, 28, 29, and October 5, and 6. Rain makeup days are set for October 12 and 13.
Each week will consist of 30 minutes of practice and a scrimmage for 45 minutes. Teams will be organized based on ages and attendance each week. Players should bring their own glove, tennis shoes or cleats, and athletic apparel. All other equipment will be provided. We ask all parents to consider helping to coach since volunteer coaches are needed.
If you have any questions about the upcoming league, contact the Paducah Parks & Recreation office at 270-444-8508. Additional information about the league can be found under the Parks & Recreation Department section of the website www.paducahky.gov.
