Date of release:  April 12, 2022

Mother Nature says she is ready to showcase Paducah's dogwoods. Daffodils and forsythia have been in full glory, and now it’s time for the 58th anniversary of Paducah's Dogwood Trail. The annual trail organized by the Paducah Civic Beautification Board highlights miles of beautiful dogwoods and lovely Paducah neighborhoods. Make your plans to enjoy the natural beauty of Paducah.

The dates for this year's lighted trail are Sunday, April 17 through Sunday, April 24. Judging by representatives of the Civic Beautification Board will be Wednesday, April 20.  An awards ceremony is planned for the May 10 meeting of the Paducah Board of Commissioners.

Also, stop by Paducah City Hall at 300 South 5th Street to view the winning entries from the Civic Beautification Board's Student Art Contest.  The pieces of artwork are on display in City Hall's atrium.
