Mayor Brandi Harless, Mayor Pro Tem Sandra Wilson, and City Manager Jim Arndt will be representing Paducah at the 43rd Annual Governor’s Local Issues Conference which will be Tuesday through Thursday (August 14-16) in Louisville, Kentucky.
Mayor Harless says, “The Local Issues Conference is an incredible opportunity to network and learn from the various State Cabinet directors and staff. Those face-to-face conversations build relationships that will be vital as we work through local and state initiatives.”

On Monday, August 13 on her way to the Governor’s Local Issues Conference, Mayor Harless will be attending the Kentucky Innovation Day conference in Frankfort, Kentucky. The attendees will be learning about the worldwide entrepreneurship network known as Techstars. Techstars has a vast mentor network that spans 150 countries and has helped more than 300,000 alumni.
Due to the attendance at these conferences, the August 14 meeting of the Paducah Board of Commissioners is cancelled. There will be a called Commission Meeting at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 21.
