Live on Broadway events will be held on Saturday, June 29, from 6 to 9 p.m. along Broadway between Water and 5th Streets.
This week’s entertainment includes the following:
· Ed and Elaine Jones, covering golden oldies
· Jypsy Caravan, playing alternative and jam rock
· Mothership Murphy, playing classic rock, 70s hits, funk and R&B
· The Trio, playing funk, pop, soul and blues
In addition to live music, there will also be several children’s activities featured this week, ranging from hands-on activities with the A.I.R. Studio artist in residence in the Family Fun Zone, to face painting and inflatable playground equipment. Jason Lindsey with Hooked on Science will be at this week’s event to teach kids fun things about science. Vendors will offer henna tattoos and face painting, while the Zerdali Dance Troupe showcase belly dancing.
Future dates for the Live on Broadway event are as follows: July 6, July 20, July 27 and August 3. There are NO scheduled events for July 13.
