Hodges, who was promoted to Sergeant on Feb. 8, joined the PPD in November 2009. He has spent the past several years as a detective and a member of the department’s Digital Forensics Unit. He was nominated by his Captain, Justin Crowell. (Nomination Form for Det. Hodges)
The Employee of the Year was one of several awards presented Thursday evening. Hodges, Officer Travis Counts, Det. Corey Willenborg and Officer Nickolas Francescon were nominated.
Five citizens were honored with Civilian Service Awards. They were: Sammie McElvain, Jason Sesock, Shela Mitchell, Kerria Bruyns and Raven Freeman.
