Adding Sidewalks at the Noble Park Dog Parks

Date of Release:
September 17, 2025

The Parks and Recreation Department wants the public to be aware of a project at the Noble Park Dog Parks. On Monday, September 22, crews will begin adding concrete sidewalks inside the dog enclosures. These sidewalks will improve accessibility to the two shelter structures. The concrete work is expected to take approximately one week. Both dog park enclosure areas will remain open during the project; however, visitors and their dogs should avoid the areas where crews are working.

This sidewalk project follows other dog park improvements this year including the installation of water spigots and grading work to improve the drainage.

About the Noble Park Dog Parks

The Noble Park Dog Parks are located adjacent to the Anna Baumer Building and Shelter 17 behind the amphitheatre. The dog parks are open seven days a week from 6 a.m. until 9 p.m. in the summer season (April – October) and from 6 a.m. until 8 p.m. in the winter season (November – March). These hours may change due to inclement weather or special events.

The dog parks include two fenced areas based upon the weight of a dog with 35 pounds as the general dividing weight. The dog parks include water fountains, fencing with vestibule entries, shelters, lighting, pet waste receptacles, and paved accessible parking areas. Portable restrooms are also onsite.
