Mayor George P. Bray and the Paducah Board of Commissioners along with representatives of National Hospitality, LLC, in partnership with Marriott International invite the community to attend the groundbreaking ceremony for the new Aloft by Marriott Paducah, a modern destination to be located adjacent to Paducah’s riverfront and near the Paducah-McCracken County Convention & Expo Center.
The ceremony will be Tuesday, November 18 at 10 a.m. on the site of the new hotel at 520 North 3rd Street. Street parking is available on North 3rd Street and Executive Boulevard. Off-street parking is available at the Paducah Area Transit Park & Ride lot located at 421 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive.
“This groundbreaking marks a major milestone in Paducah’s ongoing efforts to enhance its riverfront and expand hospitality options for visitors and convention attendees,” said Mayor Bray. “This private development represents a significant investment in Paducah’s future. The Aloft by Marriott Paducah will not only complement our vibrant downtown, convention center, and the new Paducah Sports Park but also strengthen our position as a regional destination for business, tourism, and the arts.”
Vincent Troisi and Rishi Patel, Principals of National Hospitality, said, “We're thrilled to bring Aloft by Marriott to Paducah and be part of the city's exciting growth story. This 121-room hotel will offer a fresh, modern stay experience that reflects Paducah's creative spirit and welcoming community. We see this project as a way to contribute to local economic development, create jobs, and add new energy to the area. Our team is proud to help shape a destination that both residents and visitors can enjoy."
The new Aloft by Marriott Paducah, a more than $21 million private investment, will feature 121 total rooms, a year-round indoor swimming pool, rooftop terrace, and signature amenities to include the WXYZ bar, Re:charge by Aloft fitness center, and Re:fuel by Aloft café designed to appeal to both leisure and business travelers.
Construction is scheduled to begin this December with an anticipated opening in December 2026.
The City approved an agreement with National Hospitality, LLC in September 2024 for the construction of the hotel on city-owned property in downtown Paducah. Since that date, the hotel development team has been working through the final design and permitting elements. The City purchased the property in 2015 which previously housed a nursing home and hospital. As part of the agreement, the City is conveying the property to the developer.
