City of Paducah Honored with American Flag from 101st Division Sustainment Brigade

This week, Mayor George Bray and City Manager Daron Jordan met with representatives of the 101st Division Sustainment Brigade, also known as the Lifeliners, to talk about partnerships between the Sustainment Brigade and Paducah as well as how the City can assist the Fort Campbell soldiers as they transition from military to civilian life.

Paducah is honored to be presented this shadowbox with the American flag that flew over the Lifeliner headquarters in Kuwait. The shadowbox is proudly displayed in the atrium of City Hall.

The plaque reads as follows:

Operation Spartan Shield
This American Flag was flown over the
Lifeliner Headquarters at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait in honor of
the City of Paducah
on 6 February 2021
in appreciation for your unwavering support and service to
the Soldiers of the 101st Division Sustainment Brigade. 
Your selfless and faithful dedication made a positive
difference during Operation Spartan Shield.
