Ponderings from Paducah: MyPaducah App – Stay Connected to Your City
Most of us rely on our phones to keep up with what's happening around us. From traffic updates to local events, having information readily available helps us make decisions and plan our day. The MyPaducah app brings that same convenience to staying connected with the City.
MyPaducah allows residents to report concerns, request City services, and receive updates directly on their phones. While submitting service requests is an important part of the app, one of its most useful features is the ability to receive push notifications.
These notifications provide information that can have a direct impact on your day, including upcoming events, road closures, utility notices, City facility closures, and updates to programs such as the Household Bulk Item Collection Program.
Receiving push notifications is straightforward. After downloading MyPaducah, simply submit a service request or select "Subscribe to Notices" within the app. Once connected, you'll receive City updates directly on your phone.
This fall, we're also giving residents another reason to connect. Through our "Fall in Love with MyPaducah" giveaway, residents who download the app and Subscribe to Notices between October 1 and November 30 will be entered for a chance to win one of three Paducah gift baskets.
The app is free and available through the Apple App Store and Google Play.
MyPaducah is one more way we're making City services and information easier to access. Whether you're reporting an issue or staying informed about what's happening in Paducah, it's a useful resource to have on your phone.
