A contractor working for the Paducah Parks & Recreation Department will begin an estimated two-day, weather-permitting, project to repair the water fountains at the Noble Park Dog Parks on Tuesday, April 1. As part of the project, crews will be installing new piping for frost-proof water spigots in both dog park enclosures. The public will be able to use the dog parks; however, temporary fencing will be in place to partition the dog parks from the work areas.
To facilitate the work, crews will use temporary fencing to divide the large dog park into two sections with the small dog breeds using the side closest to the Anna Baumer Building while the large dog breeds will use the side with the pavilion. Once crews complete the work in the small dog park, it will reopen for use. When crews finish installing the spigot in the large dog enclosure, the temporary fencing will be removed.
About the Noble Park Dog Parks
The Noble Park Dog Parks are located adjacent to the Anna Baumer Building and Shelter 17 behind the amphitheatre.
