On Monday, May 18, crews will begin replacing two deteriorated storm pipes beneath the roadway at the intersection of Pinecrest Drive and Springwell Lane.
The project, which will be completed by Jim Smith Contracting, will require the intersection to be closed to through traffic. Access will be maintained for residents living on West Vale.
Work is expected to take three days, weather permitting. Pavement resurfacing will occur at a later date.
Please use caution in the area, watch for work crews, and follow all traffic control devices and flaggers.
The City of Paducah maintains more than 220 miles of streets.
