Work Begins to Improve the Drainage at the Noble Park Dog Parks

Date of Release:
June 17, 2025

The Parks and Recreation Department is beginning a project to improve the drainage at the Noble Park Dog Parks. The work includes grading the dog parks inside and around the enclosures to improve the drainage flow and reseeding the areas after the grading is completed. The contractor will begin installing temporary fencing on Friday, June 20 with drainage work to begin on Monday, June 23. This project is expected to take ten days, weather permitting.

The public will be able to use the dog parks; however, temporary fencing will be in place to partition the large dog enclosure into two sections for use when the small dog park is closed for work to be completed. Once crews complete a section, it will reopen for use, and crews then will move to the next section. This will allow for a small breed and a large breed dog park to be available throughout the project.

About the Noble Park Dog Parks

The Noble Park Dog Parks are located adjacent to the Anna Baumer Building and Shelter 17 behind the amphitheatre. These hours may change due to inclement weather or special events.

The dog parks include two fenced areas based upon the weight of a dog with 35 pounds as the general dividing weight.
