Happy Halloween! Be safe trick-or-treating. The City of Paducah doesn't designate trick-or-treat hours; however, expect to see the highest number of trick-or-treaters between 5 and 8 p.m.
Here are a few safety reminders:
- Select costumes that are reflective, fit appropriately, and are not tripping hazards.
- Make sure that costume swords and similar accessories are short, soft, and flexible.
- Try to avoid walking in the road unless the street is blocked off. Walk on sidewalks or the edge of yards.
- Select houses with their front porch lights on in familiar neighborhoods.
- Don’t go inside any house or accept a ride from a stranger.
- Don’t pet or approach any animals.
- Carry a flashlight.
- Have Fun!
