On Saturday, August 19 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. celebrate the creative arts with the Kids Creative Arts Street Fair. More than a dozen Paducah arts and culture organizations will provide a wide variety of free hands-on experiences for all ages Children may choose between the many booths offering crafts, art, drama, music, games, stories, dance—and—just fun! Market House Theatre will present Playtime in the Courtyard Theatre (entrance at 124 Market House Square, next to Lepa Jewelry) at 10 am. Bring a blanket or camp/lawn chairs and enjoy the show. All events will take place rain or shine.
For the event, the east side of Market House Square and the 100 block of Kentucky Avenue between Water Street and Marine Way will be closed to vehicular traffic. To allow for set-up and tear-down, these roadways may be closed from 7 a.m. until 4 p.m.
