The community is invited to Friday Funday and Community Celebration at West Kentucky Community and Technical College. The event is August 11, 2023, from noon to 4 p.m., outside in the Quad near WKCTC’s Matheson Library and behind Haws Gymnasium. It’s a free event - no tickets needed.
This is a time for new students to come to campus to get ready for the start of the Fall 2023 semester and to celebrate WKCTC's 20th anniversary. Students, faculty, staff and the community are invited to come to campus for live music, inflatables, games and fun photo opportunities. Plus, there will be food trucks and cold treat options (cash and credit accepted). Bring a chair or blanket to sit and enjoy the bands! Performing are Lew Jetton & 61 South and The Wheelhouse Rousters.
During the day, new students may also tour campus, get their parking passes, and visit the WKCTC Bookstore. College representatives will be on hand to help with assistance for Financial Aid, and more! The WKCTC Shuttle Bus will travel between the Quad area and the Anderson Technical Building throughout the day. Information from various campus resources and student organizations will also be available.
WKCTC has plenty of parking available, and there will be signs to show you the way!
