About Paducah's Car Seat Check Stations

The Paducah Fire Department is associated with the Safe Communities Program. Each of Paducah's 5 fire stations is a Car Seat Check Station, a permanent Kentucky fitting station recognized on the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration website. Several of our firefighters have attended special training to become certified Car Seat Technicians.

About the Fire Marshal's Office


The Fire Marshal's Office conducts fire prevention inspections using the Kentucky Fire Prevention Code annually on residential, assembly, education, business, mercantile, storage, factory and industrial, high hazard, and utility and miscellaneous type use groups.


The Marshal’s office also offers discussions, demonstrations on fire safety, and education that is free of charge to all legitimate civic organizations, businesses, schools, churches, and healthcare facilities.
