The Building, Electrical, and Fire Codes Appeals Board is established by Paducah Code of Ordinances Sec. 18-123. The purpose is to hear appeals of the decisions of the Paducah Fire Prevention Division’s inspectors.

Firefighter for a Day is a free one-day class for those at least 18 years of age taught by members of the Paducah Fire Department.
The Paducah Fire Department and IAFF Local 168 are ambassadors for Operation Warm. Operation Warm is a national program founded in 2002 that provides American-made coats to children in need. The program helps more than 300,000 children each year.
The FREE 2024 Annual Combined Conference for Fire Service, Electrical, and Building Professionals will be October 17 and 18 at the Julian Carroll Convention Center. This conference which is organized by the Paducah Fire Department typically attracts more than 300 participants. This will be the 12th annual conference.
