Paducah Civic Beautification Board Begins Preparations for 61st Annual Dogwood Trail

Date of Release:
March 03, 2025

The Paducah Civic Beautification Board has begun preparations for the 61st Annual Dogwood Trail. This beautiful by day and magical by night Paducah wonder is possible because residents and businesses proudly spotlight their blooming trees and shrubs, doors and entrances. During this week long event, locals and visitors drive, walk and ride bikes along the 20 mile trail, connecting neighborhoods throughout the community.

The theme of this year’s Dogwood Trail is “Pink, White and Light – Paducah in Bloom.” The theme was chosen to celebrate the colors of the flowering trees and to remind the public to light up and showcase their Dogwood trees on their property. Homes in the city are asked to start preparations as well, making sure they have operating extension cords and spotlights so the city will shine with Dogwoods at night and to be considered for several awards given out by the board.

The Board is also announcing some new additions to this year’s event including a Dogwood Trail Kick-Off Celebration at City Hall, as well as a link to go on a self-guided tour of the trail with a narrated history of some of Paducah’s oldest neighborhoods given by the Paducah Ambassadors. Official dates for the Dogwood Trail and the Kick-Off Celebration will be announced later this month, as mother nature dictates.

For all of the latest details and updates for the Paducah 61st Annual Dogwood Trail, the public is asked to follow the Paducah Civic Beautification Board Facebook page or the Paducah Dogwood Trail Facebook page.
