Registration
There are several ways to register for programs and activities.
- Office - Stop by the Paducah Parks & Recreation Office at 1400 HC Mathis Drive and register with cash, check, or debit/credit card.
- Phone - Call the Parks office at 270-444-8508 to register using a credit card.
- Mail - Download the Registration Form and mail to Parks and Recreation with a payment in the form of a check.
- Online - A credit/debit card is required for online registration for an activity, reserve a shelter or to reserve ballfields. The online registration links allows for the viewing of programs, facilities, and activities. An account is required to register.

The City of Paducah takes pride in its parks and has enacted the Rules of Conduct (Chapter 70 Paducah Code of Ordinances) for residents and visitors as they enjoy Paducah's parks and facilities.
Sportsmanship – All players, coaches and spectators are required to display good sportsmanship before, during and after all games on and off the court/field while at Paducah Parks and Recreation activities. Players, coaches, and spectators not displaying good sportsmanship may be ejected or suspended as determined by the Paducah Parks and Recreation staff in accordance with the Parks Behavior Policy.
Behavior Policy - Paducah Parks and Recreation under no circumstance will tolerate verbal and/or physical abuse of any staff member, umpire/referee, or program participant. The penalties for any of the above behaviors are strict and strongly enforced. First time offenders may be suspended for a minimum of 1-year from all Parks and Recreation programming. It is our mission that all participants as well as employees feel safe and are protected from any type of abuse.

4-6 Year Old Rules
7-9 Year Old Rules
10-12 Year Old RulesParks & Recreation will be offering a Fall Ball Youth League for girls and boys ages 4 to 12. The 4-6 year-olds will play tee ball and 7-9 year-olds will start with tee ball then transition to coach pitch, based on each player's ability. The 10-12 year-olds will play player pitch. Fall Ball will focus on the fundamentals of the game including throwing, baserunning, fielding and hitting.
Fall Ball will be held on Tuesdays, 6:00 - 7:15 p.m. at the Noble Park Ball Fields. Dates for the league are September 5, 12, 19, and 26. Rain makeup days are set for October 3 and 10.
Nights will consist of a 30 minute practice and a 45 minute scrimmage. Players should bring their own glove, tennis shoes or cleats and athletic apparel. All other equipment will be provided.
Registration begins August 3. The cost is $25 per player. The registration deadline is August 31. Register by phone at 270-444-8508 or online. Please note that players must turn 4 years old on or before September 5 to play.
Parents or guardians that would like to serve as a volunteer coach or assistant coach can fill out this Background Check Consent Form and submit it to parkinfopaducahky.gov
- Paducah Chiefs Little League

The goals of this league are for youth ages 4 through 12 to learn the basic skills of the sport, show improvement throughout the season, and have fun! The league is held at the Noble Park Ball Fields. This league is sanctioned with Little League International and District 1 within Kentucky. We are offering Tee Ball, Minor League Baseball, and Major League Baseball. Players who sign up will be assigned teams and are provided a uniform for games. Coaches are volunteers so we ask all parents to consider helping to coach.
There is NO SMOKING OR VAPING allowed at the fields or park during games and practices per City of Paducah Ordinance.

School Enrollment FormAll Minor and Major League players must turn in a copy of their School Enrollment Form and completely fill out the Paducah Chiefs Little League Registration Form before the preseason clinic on March 11. The forms may be e-mailed to parkinfopaducahky.gov or dropped off at the Paducah Parks & Recreation Office at 1400 H.C. Mathis Drive.
Clinics
The preseason clinic has been rescheduled to Saturday, March 18, 2023 at the Paducah Recreation Center located at 1527 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. The times for each group is listed below. ***If any families have Tee Ball players of different ages, please have them attend the time of the oldest player. Example: A family with a 4 and 6 year old should attend at 1:30pm with the 6 year olds.
- Tee Ball Age 3 & 4: 12:00pm - 12:40pm
- Tee Ball Age 5: 12:45pm - 1:25pm
- Tee Ball Age 6: 1:30pm - 2:10pm
- Minor League: 2:15pm - 3:00pm
- Major League: 3:15pm - 4:00pm
Major League players will have an additional Pitchers & Catchers Clinic on Monday, March 20, 2023 at 5:30pm at Noble Park Field 1.
The Paducah Chiefs will be hosting a free youth clinic on Saturday June 3 at 10:00am at Brooks Stadium. All players are welcome to attend.
Tee Ball
Tee Ball is for boys and girls ages 4-6 and costs $35 per child (tax included). A 10% off multi-child discount is available. The aging date for players is August 31, 2022. Practices will be on Monday or Tuesday beginning March 27 and 28. Games will be on Thursdays beginning April 13. Players should have their own glove and tennis shoes. The league will provide helmets, bats, balls, and any other equipment needed for games and practices.
Tee Ball Schedule (Updated 5-9)
Minor League Baseball & Softball
For boys and girls ages 7-9 with the aging date on August 31, 2022 and costs $45 per child (tax included). A 10% off multi-child discount is available. Practices will begin on March 28 and 30 on Tuesday and Thursday evenings until games begin on April 13. Due to registration numbers, softball and baseball will be combined using a soft-compression baseball and the league is coach pitch. Coaches are volunteer parents. Players should have their own glove and tennis shoes or cleats. The league will provide helmets, bats, balls, and any other equipment needed for games and practices.
Minor League Schedule (Updated 5-9)
Major League Baseball
For boys and girls ages 10-12 with the aging date on August 31, 2021 and costs $45 per child (tax included). A 10% off multi-child discount is available. Practices will begin on March 28 and 30 on Tuesday and Thursday evenings until games begin on April 13. This league is player pitch. Coaches are volunteer parents. Boys and girls can both play Major League Baseball.

REC Way Basketball Information
REC Way Basketball is a non-competitive basketball league for boys and girls from K through 5th Grade. Practices and games are held at the Paducah Recreation Center at 1527 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. The goals of REC Way Basketball is to teach kids the basic fundamentals, skills, and rules of basketball. Games are in January and February on Saturdays for students in kindergarten through 5th grade. Weekly practices will be held in addition to games.
Grades and genders may be combined to form divisions based on registration numbers.
Players should wear their own shorts, tennis shoes, and bring a water bottle. The league will provide t-shirt uniforms, basketballs, and all other equipment needed for games and practices.
We also offer Tiny Tot Basketball for youth ages 3-5 that are not in kindergarten.
Coaches are volunteers so we ask all parents to consider helping to coach.
2023-2024 Season Dates and Information
- Registration Begins: September 11. Register online, in person at the Paducah Parks & Recreation Office at 1400 HC Mathis Drive, or call 270-444-8508. Download the REC Way Basketball Registration Form
- Registration Deadline: November 16.
- Fee: $50 (tax included) for K-5th | A 10% multi-child discount is available.
- Clinic: Saturday, December December 9. Start time TBD. The clinic's goals are instruction, motivation, and lots of excitement to start the season on the right foot.
- Weekly Practices Begin: January 8-11, 2024
- Games Schedule: Games will be on Saturdays. First games are Saturday, January 20, 2024. Last games are tentatively scheduled for Saturday, February 24.

What is Tiny Tot Basketball?
Tiny Tot Basketball is a non-competitive league for children ages 3 - 5 who are not yet enrolled in kindergarten. This league focuses on teaching the basics of basketball: dribbling, passing, shooting, and defense.
2023 Tiny Tot Basketball
Tiny Tot Basketball will meet weekly on Monday evenings: November 20 & 27 and December 4 & 11. Each night will consist of a 25 minute practice followed by a 25 minute game. Start times are 5:30 pm or 6:30 pm. We ask all parents to consider volunteering to help coach. T-shirts will be provided for practice/games. Players should wear tennis shoes and bring a water bottle.

About Tiny Tot Soccer
Tiny Tot Soccer is a non-competitive league for children ages 3-6 to learn the basic fundamentals for playing soccer without the competitive environment. There are divisions for U4 and U6. Each week will consist of 30 minutes of practice followed by a 30 minute scrimmage. Coaches are volunteers so we ask all parents to consider helping to coach. T-Shirts and shin guards will be provided. Tennis shoes are preferred and are not provided.
2023 Tiny Tot Soccer
There will be a coaches meeting at the Paducah Parks & Recreation Office (1400 H.C. Mathis Drive) on (date to be determined) upstairs in the conference room.
For kids ages 7 and up, we encourage parents to explore registering with McCracken County Youth Soccer Association (MCYSA).
Registration: Deadline to register has been extended to Friday, March 31.
Dates: Tiny Tot Soccer will be Saturday mornings ( 8:30 or 9:45 a.m.) from April 22 through May 13. May 20 will be a rain makeup date.
Location: Paducah Middle School Field located at 342 Lone Oak Rd, Paducah
Cost: $30 per player. A 10% off multi-child discount is available. Children must be 3 years old and cannot turn 7 years old when the ends on May 13.

What is Tiny Tot Volleyball?
Tiny Tot Volleyball is a new program in 2023 for girls and boys ages 4-7. Tiny Tot Volleyball has four sessions of teaching basic skills for volleyball.

This program will take place on Tuesday nights on November 7, 14, 28 & December 5. Ages 4 & 5 will meet from 5:30 pm - 6:15 pm. Ages 6 & 7 will meet from 6:30 pm - 7:15 pm. This program will take place at the Paducah Recreation Center located at 1527 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. Parents can help volunteer as a coach.

Junior Tennis Clinics
The Paducah Tennis Association and Paducah Parks & Recreation are offering Fall Junior Tennis Clinics on Sundays at the Noble Park Tennis Courts. The clinics will be on September, 10, 17, & 24 and October 8. Pre-register by phone at 270-444-8508, online, or at the Parks & Recreation Office located at 1400 HC Mathis Drive. Registration is allowed on-site the first day as well. Since spots are limited, registering before Thursday, September 7 at 4:30pm is recommended. There are three levels as shown below:
- Beginner: Ages 6+ | 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm | Cost: $80 + tax
The junior beginner tennis clinic is a fun and engaging program designed to introduce young participants, typically between the ages of 6 to 12, to the fundamentals of tennis. This clinic focuses on developing basic tennis skills, including proper grip, footwork, hand-eye coordination, and racquet technique. Through a combination of structured drills, games, and interactive activities, participants will learn the essential strokes such as forehand, backhand, and serve.
- Intermediate: Ages 6-18 | 2:15 pm - 3:45 pm | Cost: $100 + tax
The intermediate junior tennis clinic is a structured training program designed to cater to young tennis players who have already developed fundamental skills and basic understanding of the game. This clinic focuses on refining and expanding their tennis abilities. Participants should be able to consistently hit groundstrokes and serves and be able to rally and keep score.
During the clinic, coaches introduce more advanced techniques such as topspin, slice, and approach shots. The clinic involves a mix of drills, practice matches, and physical conditioning exercises to help participants improve their endurance and strength.
- Advanced: Ages 6-18 | 2:15 pm - 3:45 pm | Cost: $100 + tax
An advanced junior tennis clinic is a structured program designed for young and skilled tennis players who are looking to elevate their game to a higher level. Advanced players are currently playing competitively for a school team or individually at tournaments. Coaches provide personalized instruction and feedback tailored to each player's strengths and areas for improvement. The clinic's curriculum include advanced stroke mechanics, footwork drills, match tactics, situational gameplay, and mental conditioning exercises. Additionally, players engage in competitive practice matches or simulated game scenarios to apply their newly acquired skills in a realistic setting.
Youth Tennis at the Paducah Recreation Center - January/February 2023
The Paducah Tennis Association and Paducah Parks & Recreation are offering Youth Tennis at the Paducah Recreation Center located at 1527 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. This is for kids ages 6-12 and open to all ability levels. Tennis balls and nets are provided but we ask that participants bring their own rackets.
This program will be from 5:00pm – 6:00pm on the following Sundays: January 22 & 29, February 5, 12, 19, & 26. The cost is $5 per Sunday or $30 for all six. Participants must pre-register since space is limited, but can choose to register for all the dates, one date, or a couple of them. The deadline to register is 12:00pm the Friday before each Sunday.

League Registration
Each team must complete and turn in a Team Registration Form when they register for a league. Also each player must complete and sign the Individual Player Waiver Form prior to playing in any league game. Forms must be turned into team captains and then turned into the Parks & Recreation office at 1400 HC Mathis Drive before the registration deadline. On the form, players must indicate the team and league on which they are playing. A separate form must be completed for each sports league. Players who do not complete the Individual Player Waiver Form and submit it to the Parks & Recreation office prior to league start will not be permitted to play in the league until Parks receives the form.
